This week, from June 20 to 24, the 13 Hours of France 2 takes you on a discovery of Lake Annecy. Monday, June 20, we start with the mythical trout fishing.

The 13 Hours of France 2 takes you to Lake Annecy to discover a natural environment to take a breath of fresh air between lake and mountain. To start, we take you trout fishing. Florent has been fishing on the lake every day for 14 years. Every morning, at dawn, he retrieves the fish caught in his nets that he deposited the day before. He sells them to local restaurants. On the lake, there are only two professional fishermen, because of the resource of this body of water. The fishing is good that day, but “there are no rules, it can be 40 kilos like 3 kilos”explains Florent.

The catch of the day can be found on the table of a starred chef, Jean Sulpice. On his menu, there are only products from the region. His dishes are above all memories. In the kitchen, it’s a hive that is activated. His brigade is made up of about fifteen people.
