In the likely event that Deshaun Watson is suspended by the NFL, his Browns teammate Anthony Walker should have no problem keeping up with the times until his quarterback returns to huddle.
Watson gave Walker a new Rolex and more, in exchange for the number 4 jersey.
A linebacker in his second year with the Browns, Walker received the expensive watch immediately after Wednesday’s OTA practice. Walker had worn no. 4 since arriving in Cleveland before last season but dropped to no. 5 once he heard Watson was coming to the Browns.
The watch was an unexpected and unsolicited gift from Watson, who has worn 4 since his days with the Clemson center.

“Thank you,” Watson said, handing Walker the boxed Rolex as the linebacker was interviewed by reporters.
Walker hugged Watson, put the box on the ground behind him, and told Watson, “I appreciate that.”
Although the Cleveland media pressed him to open the box, he smiled and chose to wait and do so out of the public eye.

Walker told the roughly 25 reporters in attendance that he never thought of keeping the no. 4, nor did he plan to ask for payment or donation in exchange for the number. “Deshaun said he was coming to Cleveland, I texted him 10 seconds later and said, ‘Welcome to Cleveland, #4. That was it,'” Walker said.

The Rolex wasn’t the only thing Watson gifted the starting linebacker. According to a report from Cleveland.com, the Browns franchise quarterback also donated $50,000 to a Florida high school football program where Walker’s father works.
“He’s a good guy, man,” Walker added.
