Deontay Wilder and Francis Ngannou met and kissed at a gym on Wednesday.
The former WBC heavyweight champion in boxing and the current UFC heavyweight champion in MMA got face to face and exchanged pleasantries.
In the brief clip Ngannou posted on social media, he stepped onto the ring apron Wilder was training in and the American approached him.
Ngannou started by saying, “Hey champ.”
To which Wilder replied, “What’s up bro?”
They then shook hands and Ngannou replied, “Not much. How are you?”
Wilder replied, “I’m fine.”
He then added, “Blessings, blessings, blessings,” as they kissed.
Ngannou said, “Nice to meet you.
And Wilder replied: “The pleasure is mine.”
Ngannou then went to leave and added, “Good practice.”
Wilder concluded by saying, “Trying to get back into the rhythm.”
Over the past week, several images have emerged showing Wilder back in the gym.
The ex-champ will turn 37 in a few months and previously hinted at a possible retirement following his trilogy loss to Tyson Fury.
More recently though, Wilder vowed to return to boxing.
Many are eagerly awaiting his return as he remains arguably the most exciting fighter in the sport.
