Deontay Wilder thinks Oleksandr Usyk will beat Anthony Joshua again in their next rematch.

The former undisputed cruiserweight champion dethroned AJ of his WBA, IBF and WBO world titles last year, and the pair will reunite on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

Giving his thoughts on the second fight, Wilder told ESNews, “I’m going with Usyk here man.

“I’m going with Usyk. I think a lot of people are.

“It’s boxing at the end of the day, so we’ll see, but I think it’s Usyk.”

After the first fight last year, Wilder was asked if he was surprised by the result and he told BT Sport: “I wasn’t at all, I wasn’t at all.

“Malik Scott always talks about Usyk and how talented he is. Especially coming to cruiserweight.

“He definitely had his struggles in the heavyweight division with Chazz Witherspoon and Derek Chisora. But styles make fights and with Joshua he just had his number at the time.

Tyson Fury agrees with his old enemy’s verdict.

When asked his thoughts on the rematch, Fury told Gareth A Davies: “Joshua can obviously land a big punch, but I just think Usyk is too cute for him.

“Too smart, too quick and left-handed.

” And I think that [new coach] Robert Garcia trying to train him to be on the front foot or whatever and be aggressive will only allow Usyk to land more often.

“I just don’t see it, but then again, what do I know? Nothing about boxing. I’m heavyweight champion of the world, undefeated in all of this.

Fury doesn’t like AJ’s chances for revenge

“Anyone can win a fight as we’ve seen many, many times and it’s a good time to beat Usyk now, isn’t it?

“Because [his country] were at war. Everything is up in the air. If ever he were to miss his ball, now would be the time.

“But I just think Usyk is too good a boxer for AJ and I don’t think AJ has the ability to pressure him for 12 rounds, drag him into a dogfight and knock him out.

“You have to be a special elite human being for that and I don’t think Joshua has that will to win to do that.

“He is too easily happy to come in second.

“If you are on purpose second, say no more.”
