Federalist publisher Ben Domenech on Tuesday called for a “record” for the new year, urging Americans to “demand more from our nation, our neighbors and ourselves” and reject chaos, crime and abuse of blatant power that have become commonplace.
Reflecting on the best stories of 2021, the “Fox News Primetime” host delivered a passionate opening monologue encouraging viewers to regain their sense of “normal” after years of disruptive far-left politics.
“It is time, in this closing week, to take stock of everything we have learned this year, the frauds that have been exposed, the evils we have learned to hate and the truths we have learned about who we are. we are and who we hope to be, ”says Domenech. “A year that started with the promise that we could now get back to normal and ended with a horrible possibility that all of this, all this terrible, is normal now.”
Domenech described the main stories of the year, including the war between parents and the school systems, the growing divide between the elite class and the American people, the increase in crime rates as a result of the policies of far-left bail reform and the ugly “truths” exposed by a pandemic that continues to rage in various parts of the world.
DOMENECH: BIDEN DOUBLING THE POLICIES THAT DO NOT WORK
“It was a year when court cases were at the center of the national debate. Kyle Rittenhouse, Derek Chauvin, Jussie Smollett, Ghislaine Maxwell. weigh in on Joe Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate and decide whether, despite the long-dominant infant murder legal regime, the abortion issue will finally get back to the people. “
The dominant stories of the year were all “sold to the people under a false rhetoric of tolerance, kindness and love,” Domenech said, berating left-wing politicians for acting with the belief that “as long as the message is is what you care, it doesn’t matter that your policies are ruining lives, destroying livelihoods, and destroying great American cities. “
