Davison Scouting Company’s Fundraiser Sees Spike in ‘Oxford Strong’ T-Shirt Sales | New | Local News

DAVISON, Mich. (WJRT) – A Davison business is inundated with requests for t-shirts to support the Oxford community.

Hilton Screener’s “Oxford Strong” shirts are literally flying off the shelves as orders rise from people posting and raising awareness on social media.

100% of the $ 20 cost for each t-shirt will be donated to help Oxford families cope with Tuesday’s tragedy.

Hilton Screener office manager Rachel Miller told ABC12 how grateful the staff are for such strong community support.

“Exceeded is the only way to explain it. We do t-shirt fundraisers all the time for local things. And we always get support. But we never expected something like that.” Miller said.

Initially, Hilton had only purchased 100 shirts.

They are so popular – over 1,400 orders have been placed both locally and as far away as North Carolina and Arizona.

It is expected that 2,500 shirts will be sold over the next few days, which would raise $ 50,000.
