Dana White had verbal skirmishes with Jake Paul, but MMA boss once saved Logan Paul from being beaten at UFC 264 after buying tickets for Conor McGregor in ‘bad seats’

UFC President Dana White has made his dislike for Jake Paul clear, but he’s already been forced to step in and help his brother, Logan.

Paul’s older brother, who boxed Floyd Mayweather, bought tickets to watch the trilogy fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July last year.

White made his feelings about Logan and Jake Paul clear

But White says he had to outclass Paul in “Billionaire’s Row” where former President Donald Trump and other VIPs can sit to keep him from getting beat up.

“He bought a bunch of tickets for the fight, and the tickets he bought weren’t tickets he would want to sit in,” White explained during a podcast episode with YouTubers the NELK Boys. .

“He was going to get run over. So I put it in another section.

Every time the Paul brothers appeared on screen at UFC events, the crowd unanimously booed and Jake had to have bodyguards with him at UFC 262 when Charles Oliveira faced Michael Chandler in 2021.

But that didn’t stop former light-heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier from running up to him and putting the boxer-turned-YouTuber in his place.

While Logan stuck with the shows and moved on to WWE, Jake tried to carve out a career in the ring.

Logan thinks he or his brother will end up fighting McGregor

He was scheduled to fight Hasim Rahman Jr in what would have been his sixth professional fight, but it was canceled with a week to go.

And White was quick to speculate that it was due to poor ticket sales for the Madison Square Garden event.

White also once joked that the Paul brothers would be “murdered” in a UFC octagon, but Logan remains a fan of the promotion and he’s the boss.

“I came out publicly and said I love Dana White, always loved him, always will. He’s a ruthless businessman, big boss, but I don’t know not what he thinks of me.

“By default, my relationship with my brother will always come first but, if I can be cool with someone, I will.”

While Jake’s weekend was ruined by the news that his upcoming fight was canceled, Logan wowed the crowds at the WWE SummerSlam event.
