Cristiano Ronaldo eclipses Lionel Messi and Neymar’s earnings with staggering £485,000 A DAY deal as new Al-Nassr star set to earn more than Canelo and Tyson Fury combined

Cristiano Ronaldo will pocket a whopping £177million-a-year salary from Al Nassr – becoming the highest-paid athlete in history.

The 37-year-old’s move to the Saudi side was confirmed last Friday, with the Portuguese superstar signing a deal until 2025.

Commenting on his switch, the former Manchester United striker said: “I’m delighted to have a new experience in a different league and a different country, Al Nassr’s vision is very inspiring.

“I am very happy to join my teammates and help the team achieve more success.”

And it should come as no surprise why Ronaldo is so enthusiastic about his transfer after signing a lucrative two-and-a-half-year deal.

Incredibly, Ronaldo will earn £177m a year which includes his base football salary [£62m-per-year] as well as trade bonuses.

This equates to an astonishing £14.75million every month, with Ronaldo to earn £3.4million a week.

To break this down even further, the Real Madrid legend will pocket £485,000 per day, £20,000 per hour and £337 per minute.

To put his astronomical salary into perspective, Forbes had named his longtime rival Lionel Messi as the highest-paid sportsman in 2022.

They say the Paris Saint-Germain striker has earned £107m from his base football salary and commercial bonuses, which is £70m less than Ronaldo’s new deal.

His Parisians team-mate Neymar took home £78.5m, with Mohamed Salah the next highest-paid footballer at £37m.

PSG forward Mbappe follows the Liverpool maestro where he earned £35.5million in 2022.
