Cristiano Ronaldo will pocket a whopping £177million-a-year salary from Al Nassr – becoming the highest-paid athlete in history.
The 37-year-old’s move to the Saudi side was confirmed last Friday, with the Portuguese superstar signing a deal until 2025.

And it should come as no surprise why Ronaldo is so enthusiastic about his transfer after signing a lucrative two-and-a-half-year deal.
Incredibly, Ronaldo will earn £177m a year which includes his base football salary [£62m-per-year] as well as trade bonuses.
This equates to an astonishing £14.75million every month, with Ronaldo to earn £3.4million a week.
To break this down even further, the Real Madrid legend will pocket £485,000 per day, £20,000 per hour and £337 per minute.

To put his astronomical salary into perspective, Forbes had named his longtime rival Lionel Messi as the highest-paid sportsman in 2022.
They say the Paris Saint-Germain striker has earned £107m from his base football salary and commercial bonuses, which is £70m less than Ronaldo’s new deal.
His Parisians team-mate Neymar took home £78.5m, with Mohamed Salah the next highest-paid footballer at £37m.
PSG forward Mbappe follows the Liverpool maestro where he earned £35.5million in 2022.
