FC Copenhagen supporters made a brilliant gesture towards traveling Sevilla supporters on Wednesday night by handing out free beer.
Such gestures are rare in football, with opposing groups of supporters more likely to engage in verbal fights and, in some cases, physical confrontations.

See Nice’s clash with Cologne last Thursday, that match was delayed for over an hour after fans got into battles inside the stadium.
However, Copenhagen showed their class with the brilliant gesture of handing out beer to fans of the Spanish club who had made the 3,000 mile round trip to Denmark.
The Sevilla supporters gladly accepted their offer and hailed the home supporters for their generosity.
The Danish club posted a video on Twitter of the beers distributed to visitors.
The classy moment will certainly be remembered, but the match itself will soon be forgotten.
Copenhagen and Sevilla played out a lackluster 0-0 draw, for their first Champions League points of the season.
They are in Group G alongside Man City and Borussia Dortmund and will struggle to qualify for the knockout stages.
Erling Haaland scored twice against Sevilla in their first 4-0 loss to City, and the Spanish club will be sure to have the beers ready for Copenhagen’s return to drown their sorrows when the Norwegian striker inevitably continues his form of scorer.
