Kanye West has been replaced at Coachella after pulling out of the music festival.

The rapper, now called youwas supposed to make the headlines Sunday News Slot.

It was reported earlier in the week that he had dropped out and Coachella confirmed it after organizers released a new poster featuring Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd in the main Sunday title instead.

In 2011, West made headlines in California but hasn’t performed his own set at Coachella since, making appearances on The Weeknd in 2015 and with Kid Cudi in 2019.

Former One Direction member Harry Styles is still headlining this year’s Friday slot, while Billie Eilish will headline Saturday.

The line-up change comes just a week before the California music festival returns after a two-year COVID enforced hiatus.

West has kept a low profile since he was banned from instagram for 24 hours for violating the social media platform’s bullying policies.

Instagram has suspended his account after he repeatedly attacked Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, 28, who is dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

West was scheduled to perform at the Grammys this week but her slot was removed after her “online behavior regarding”.

The 44-year-old was nominated for five awards but did not attend the ceremony on Sunday.

It won the award for best rap songfor Jail with Jay-Z.

Other artists performing at Coachella this year include Daniel Caesar, Big Sean, Megan Thee Stallion, Disclosure, 21 Savage, Flume, Dojo Cat, Jamie xx, Run the Jewels and Dave.
