Christians must ‘specifically pray’ for Trump in light of ‘politically motivated’ attacks

“We need to pray for our country and where it is heading. The left in Washington and across the country simply cannot get enough of attacking Donald Trump. They are so paranoid about him,” Graham said in a social media post Monday afternoon.

“The assault on him is continuous. There is no doubt that the media and the left have manipulated the last election, and they are afraid of the possible return of Donald Trump,” Graham continued, noting that the establishment media publishes negative stories about him “night after night “.

“Now they’re talking about possibly arresting him in the hope that it would stop him running for president again – that would be a huge mistake. The charges against him are definitely politically motivated,” Graham said before asking other Christians to pray for Trump — especially that God will direct the former president’s footsteps.

“I would like to ask Christians all over the country to pray specifically for the former president Donald J. Trump, that the hand of God would be upon him, protecting and directing him in every step—and that God’s will would be done. We must work together to strengthen this nation, not divide and destroy it,” Graham added:

Graham’s remarks come as the nation awaits George Soros-backed Bragg’s move, as Trump predicted over the weekend that he (Trump) would be arrested this week:

Conservatives have since come out in favor of the president, and Republicans on top House investigative committees are demanding Bragg’s testimony. House Republican conference chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) also thinks it should happen.

“I think we should hear Alvin Bragg testify before Congress, under oath, about his vision and the fact that this is extremely political and the fact that this hasn’t been prosecuted in federal court and the fact that the department of Justice passed it on,” Stefanik told Breitbart News exclusively in an interview during the House GOP retreat.
