Choisy-le-Roi: the child attacked by his babysitter has died
The 7-year-old boy who was attacked by his babysitter in Choisy-le-Roi (Val-de-Marne), died, we learned from a source close to the investigation this Saturday, confirming information from RTL . His babysitter, a 28-year-old man, was arrested and indicted for attempted murder of a minor, after presenting himself at the police station. He then indicated that he had killed a child. The little boy showed signs of strangulation and beating when he was discovered on the public highway, his head in a plastic bag, at the beginning of November.
According to the first elements of the investigation, Karl had been looking after the little boy at the family home in Vitry-sur-Seine for several years and was not known to the police. However, in the past he had kissed a little girl in a Parisian park. Passers-by, finding the scene shocking, filmed it before transmitting the video to the police. The young man was not worried.
“For five years, I have taken care of children from 6 months to 13 years old, as a nanny, au pair (during the holidays), or babysitter,” he described himself on one of the specialized Internet sites. It is currently unknown whether there are other victims.
