Censorship of things like lab leak theory ‘leads to totalitarianism’

During Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Big Money Show,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) responded to reports that the Department of Energy has concluded that a lab leak is the source of the more likely of the coronavirus by stating that the censorship of the lab leak theory and the “connection between repressive and censorious government views that simply question the origins” of the virus is a major problem because this type of censorship “ leads to totalitarianism.

Co-host Brian Brenberg asked, “There’s a lot hidden here. Are there more in store? Your thoughts.”

Biggs replied, “Yeah. We really don’t know because we haven’t seen this classified document. It was leaked to several people. But the reality is there [are] huge problems from that, be it censorship…Dr. Marc Siegel, Fox Contributor, says this leads to totalitarianism. Yes that’s it. This link between government suppression and censorship of viewpoints that simply question origins is huge. It’s a big story with a lot of implications that go with it, all of, was it the Wuhan lab, and were we funding some of the function research gain from the Wuhan lab? So you have a whole host of problems here.
