Celtic extended their Scottish Premiership lead to six points with six games remaining thanks to a dramatic 2-1 Old Firm Derby victory over Rangers.
The Bhoys came from behind to beat their opponents for the first time since 2019 after a quick start with two goals in the first seven minutes of the game.
Wales star Aaron Ramsey kicked off the game on a flyer with a third-minute opener, guiding a withdrawal from the ever-dangerous Ryan Kent to send Ibrox wild.
However, it wasn’t long before league leaders Celtic calmed down the fierce home crowd when Tom Rogic headed in a single rebound after Alan McGregor parried a Reo Hatate shot straight into his path.
With the score level again after just seven minutes, the two rivals began to find their rhythm, but it was Celtic who best mastered the affair from start to finish.
Tottenham loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers was the first to react to a loose ball just before the break, surging as Rangers failed to clear a free kick and scored the winning goal.
And talkSPORT reporter David Tanner explained how important the win could be.
“The winner of the Scottish Premiership this season will benefit from automatic qualification for the Champions League group stages,” he said.

“None of the horrors of qualifying and as such this game, this win, is worth over £30m.
“Celtic have dropped just two points in 2022 and a six-point lead surely makes them elusive.”
The second 45 was delayed when former Manchester City man Joe Hart had to deal with a smashed bottle in his goal mouth, but that didn’t stop him from playing a crucial role in the huge win .
Hart and opposing goaltender McGregor both made stunning saves to keep the second period scoreless.
Celtic now have a sizable lead as they seek to reclaim the league title from defending champions Rangers, who last season ended the Bhoys’ nine-season streak.
