Celine Dion Fans Stunned After Singer Dropped From Rolling Stone’s 200 Greatest Singers List

Rolling Stone has released its updated list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time, with readers quickly noticing one glaring gap in the list – Celine Dion.

“These are the singers who have shaped history and defined our lives – from slick operators to raw screamers, from gospel to punk, from Sinatra to Selena to SZA,” Rolling Stone editors wrote in the published article. Sunday.

The list included Billie Eilish at No. 198, Taylor Swift at No. 102 and Bruce Springsteen at No. 77, among others. However, fans were quick to notice that the Canadian singer failed to make the list.

“Like the real f is NOT in the list!!? Like what were they smoking making that list! That’s an insult to the music!” wrote one Twitter user.

“Anyone who doesn’t just mention Celine Dion, but doesn’t include her in the Top 5 Greatest Singers, doesn’t have to write for a music organization. This list is full of disrespect for artists who can actually sing” , wrote another.

Other users snubbed various artists on the list when calling out the magazine, “Céline Dion wasn’t on Rolling Stone’s list of the greatest singers of all time. Taylor Swift was.”

Rolling Stone explained that they used “an elaborate voting process” to bring together their latest list, which was released in 2008, writing that it leaned heavily towards “classic rock and singers from the 60s and 70s”. The magazine’s latest list was put together by Rolling Stone staff and contributors who pored over the past 100 years of pop music to determine the final results.

The 54-year-old singer shared her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome (SPS) via Instagram early last month, explaining that the neurological disorder “affects something like one in a million people”.
