Cauet accused of having sent messages of a sexual nature to a minor, the host files a complaint for “moral harassment”

NRJ radio host, Sébastien Cauet, filed a complaint this Wednesday for “moral harassment”. Many Internet users accuse the host of having sent messages of a sexual nature to a minor through WhatsApp messaging.
For several weeks now, screenshots of messages incriminating Sébastien Cauet have been circulating on the web, and this Wednesday, November 15, the flagship host of NRJ decided to counterattack. Accused by numerous Internet users of having sent messages of a sexual nature to a minor at the time of the events, the fifty-year-old filed a complaint at the Boulogne-Billancourt police station (Hauts-de-Seine) “for moral harassment committed by the use of an online public communication service”, according to information from France Infowho cites the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office.
In fact, the first accusations against the radio host date back to October 13. According to our colleagues, it is an account with no less than 150,000 subscribers and using a pseudonym which, on the social network X (formerly Twitter), published two screenshots showing exchanges on WhatsApp messaging. These exchanges have not yet been verified and authenticated.
The fact remains that Sébastien Cauet has not published a single tweet on his X account since October 13. Last Tuesday, November 14, a second X account published screenshots of these sexual messages on the web: its owner claims that she is the recipient. The publication was particularly shared on the web: it was viewed more than 3 million times. According to our colleagues, this young woman did not file a complaint. Following the radio host’s complaint, an investigation was opened and entrusted to the brigade for the repression of delinquency against the person.
