Capitol Rioter Jenna Ryan compares his upcoming incarceration to a health retreat.
Famous real estate broker and social media influencer – who will start her 60-day jail term in three weeks for her role in the January 6 attack – posted an unsettlingly sincere TikTok earlier this week in which she explained how she plans to reach her “ideal weight” while incarcerated.
“The only thing I see that’s good about having to go to jail is that I’m going to be able to exercise a lot, do a lot of yoga and detox,” Ryan said while filming himself in support. – sports bra and leggings.
While Ryan seems like the type of person who cares about what she puts in her mouth, she certainly didn’t mind ramming her foot further as she elaborated:
“And also I can’t eat because the food is awful, and there just isn’t any food. So I hope they have, like, protein shakes and protein bars, I think? Because you don’t want to eat like green bologna, that’s what they should be eating.
After stating that “everyone tells me I’m going to lose weight in jail” because she won’t have access to alcohol and “dumb stuff” like crisps, Ryan steps on a scale and displays his weight. She then declares that she thinks she can lose 30 pounds in two months.
“If I do this, it will be worth going to jail for 60 days,” she said. “If I could lose 30 pounds, it would be worth it. So you have to look on the bright side of whatever you do, and that’s what I’m trying to do.
Needless to say, people were troubled by Ryan’s style to ease his anxiety.
Ryan posted a TikTok follow-up two days later after a backlash against his initial video. Her new post attempted to clarify her attitude and offered a tinge of humility – though she did point out that she had a misdemeanor conviction rather than a felony, and “it’s not like I can’t. not work when I get out ”.
“I’m going to go through hell, it’s gonna be horrible to go to jail,” Ryan said.
She then defended her previous video by insisting that she was only “a positive person” and that it was an example of her trying to “see the bright side of everything”.
“The only advantage of going to jail is that I will be able to read books – that’s all there is to do: read books and exercise,” she said. .
Ryan’s two TikToks are very on the brand for her: She flew to Washington, DC, in a private plane to protest the loss of former President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election and, more later stormed the Capitol. She called it “one of the best days of my life”.
She was arrested in January after bragging about her exploits on January 6 on social media and claiming she wouldn’t go to jail because she has “blonde hair, white skin, a great job, a bright future.”
