Eric Zemmour unsurprisingly lambasted the President of the Republic for his migration policy. “Emmanuel Macron says he has no lesson to receive on illegal immigration. I will take care to give it to him anyway, ”wrote the Reconquest candidate on Twitter.
“Emmanuel Macron decides to attack me in his meeting. Let him come and discuss. He has 7 days left to pretend to have campaigned,” he also tweeted.

Philippe Poutou, in a meeting at the same time at the Cirque d’Hiver, denounced the fact that Emmanuel Macron would have “stolen” his slogan: “While his friends the rich are stealing public money, Macron is stealing our slogans from us. Emmanuel Macron would have gathered more than 30,000 people during his meeting, according to CNews. A figure which is however the subject of intense debatesin particular following the dissemination of images showing empty seats on social networks.
Given favorite by the polls, the Head of State is gradually being overtaken by Marine Le Pen, while the McKinsey affair continues to gain momentum.
