Cameron Candace Bure calls Bob Saget her ‘sweet Bobby Daddy’ in final tribute to late ‘Full House’ actor| News Today

Candace Cameron Bure continues to post online tributes to her on-screen dad, Bob Saget.

The “Full House” actress, who played Saget’s (Danny Tanner) daughter DJ Tanner on the family sitcom, encouraged her social media followers to “kiss like Bob.”

Bure’s post showed her and Saget kissing in a black-and-white photo that appears to be from the day of her wedding to husband Valeri Bure.

She also hinted at a nickname she had for Saget. “I love you my sweet sweet daddy Bobby,” she wrote in her caption.

Bure was one of many A-listers who paid their respects to Saget on Friday at his funeral in Los Angeles. She was pictured at the ceremony with other “Full House” co-stars, including John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and more.

Ahead of the funeral, Bure shared several throwback photos on her Instagram Story of her and Saget over the years, some of which appeared to have taken place while “Full House” was still on the air. A photo shows Saget smiling while using a camera. Another shot shows Bure with “Full House” stars Saget, Coulier and Scott Weinger.

According to TMZ, around 300 people showed up to pay their respects to the beloved comedian. A reception was to follow at the home of “Full House” creator Jeff Franklin, by Additional.

Porters included Saget’s close friends Jeff Ross, John Mayer, Stamos, Coulier, among others.

Beloved actor-comedian, known for his long-running TV role as Danny Tanner on “Full houseand as the former host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” was found dead Sunday in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida. He was 65.

Ahead of Friday’s service, Saget Rabbi Steven Carr Reuben explained what he would be focusing on during the funeral.

“Pretty much how heartbroken everyone is… One of the things that’s so amazing about Bob is the more you read people’s comments, everyone in the world, all his famous friends, they all say the same thing. … He was the nicest, kindest, warmest, most loving guy and always there for everyone,” he told Extra.

The funeral was held at Mt. Sinai Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood Hills.

“Today will be the hardest day of my life,” Saget’s “Full House” co-star and dear friend Stamos tweeted Friday morning. “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Orange County deputies were called Jan. 9 to an “unresponsive man” in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando and found Saget dead, according to a statement from the sheriff on Twitter. Detectives found “no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

Saget was in Florida as part of his “I Don’t Do Negative Comedy Tour”. After warm receptions from the public at his concerts last Friday in Orlando and last Saturday in the resort town of Ponte Vedra Beach, he celebrated online.

“I’m back in acting like when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and enjoying every moment of it,” he posted on Instagram on Saturday.

“We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today,” the Saget family said in a statement on Sunday. “He was everything to us, and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.

“All my heart. Bob was everything to me,” she said. “I am so overwhelmed and in disbelief. I am so deeply touched by the outpouring of love and tribute from our friends, family, fans and peers.”

Saget and Rizzo tied the knot in 2018 in a ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif. He is also survived by three adult daughters Aubrey, Lara and Jennifer with his first wife Sherri Kramer before divorcing in 1997.
