California woman faces 4th impaired driving charge after refusing to leave Taco Bell drive-thru

A California woman is facing a fourth impaired driving conviction after apparently driving drunk in a Taco Bell and refusing to leave the drive-thru lane.
Demetra Bailey, 39, pleaded not guilty to two impaired driving charges and resisted arrest after court documents said she was driving drunk at a Taco Bell drive-thru in Bakersfield , in California, in January, reported KGET-TV.

Police responded to the Bakersfield Taco Bell location on January 4 after receiving calls that a motorist appeared intoxicated and unwilling to leave the drive-thru lane.
An arriving officer activated his emergency lights, and Bailey, who has a previous drunk driving conviction, reportedly put her car in reverse to get out of the drive-thru lane. Instead, his car crashed onto the sidewalk.

Bailey’s vehicle reportedly got stuck on the sidewalk, prompting him to exit the vehicle and lead officers on a short foot chase.
Court records also indicate that Bailey was driving with a suspended or revoked license.
