California school district pays nearly $10,000 for ‘LGBTQ presentations’

California’s Twin Rivers Unified School District paid nearly $10,000 for “LGBTQ presentations.”
The district, located in McClellan, Calif., paid $9,591 for the presentations, according to to a list of contracts. The list of contracts indicates that the money went to the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
The list of contracts gives the start date as February 8 with the end date two days later on February 10.
GLSEN is one of the main drivers of gender ideology and queer theory in the education system. One of the organization’s most notable projects is the “Rainbow Library,” a program that sends pro-trans books to elementary and kindergarten classrooms.
GLSEN called the Rainbow Library their “first step to getting in front of kids” and a “springboard for an inclusive program at the district or state level”. Some of the books, such as “I am Jazz”, endorse transgender identification in young children. Breitbart News revealed that the program received financial aid of General Motors.

Additionally, Breitbart News revealed in July that AmeriCorps, “the federal agency connecting individuals and organizations to address the nation’s most pressing challenges”, Free allocation for a “22-23 GLSEN Student & Educator Outreach” position. The description of the role, archive hereexplained that “the member will encourage engagement with educators, school districts, and Gay-Straight Alliance/Gender-Sexuality Alliance (GSA) clubs across the state,” while also conducting trainings.
Meanwhile,a report from Discover the Networks revealed that the organization engages in lobbying and political activism, and has offered “sexually explicit material and information to young school children” at its conferences.
Several school districts in California have pushed left-wing gender theory on their students. The San Francisco Unified School District, for example, teaches the Gender Theory curriculum without parental consent.
Los Angeles Unified School District promoted “two-spirited” gender identity and even held a LGBT club for four-year-olds. There were also other clubs for college and high school students like the “Trans and gender non-binary group in middle school.”
The district shared a video of a transgender activist on their Instagram account. The activist posts explicit photos of himself online. In the meantime, they have also partnered with an organization that provides pro trans elementary school books.
In addition to promoting gender theory, districts in the state have also repeatedly advanced critical race theory. San Rafael City Schools spent $30,000 on “racial equity training” with a consultant who mobilizes students as left-wing activists for critical race theory. The program, called the “Student Leaders Anti-Racism Movement (SLAM)” aims to “not just…to engage students in conversations about race, but to empower and mobilize them as catalysts for change through an anti-racism youth movement.”
Hayward Unified School District paid a group called “Kindergarten alarm clock“$57,000 to teach staff members how to ‘disrupt whiteness’ and ‘white dominant/settler colonial narratives’.”
The Riverside Unified School District website previously promoted a trial called “Decentering Whiteness”, which remarked that “attacking whiteness is not enough”. The website featured an “anti-racism reading list.” District leaders also claimed critical race theory was not taught despite hiring an education advisory group that uses divisive theory.
