Caitlyn Jenner Remembers Convincing Robert Kardashian to Divorce Kris

Caitlyn Jenner shares new insight into her relationship with the late Robert Kardashian Sr.

In fact, the former Olympian revealed that during the famous lawyer’s 1991 divorce from Kris JennerCaitlyn actually fought for her ex-wife during her messy breakup with Robert.

“She was going through a difficult time with Robert during the divorce when I came on the scene,” Caitlyn recalls in the new Peacock documentary. Kardashian House, streaming now. “He was doing everything to make her life miserable. I saw what was happening from the outside and I just said, ‘This is ridiculous.’ So I called Robert and said, ‘Hey, let’s go to dinner.'”

“We met at Hamburger Hamlet on Sunset Boulevard, just the two of us in a booth in the back,” the 74-year-old continued. “And basically, I told her Kris was leaving. Sorry, but she’s moving on. I said, ‘I can take over from here. So let’s make this final signing of the papers as easy as possible.’ And he did it.”
