Bukayo Saka’s Arsenal deal extended until 2024 as Gunners seek to secure his long-term future with William Saliba also set for Emirates stay

Arsenal have extended Bukayo Saka’s contract until 2024 amid their bid to secure his long-term future at the club.

The 21-year-old has continued to be a key part of Mikel Arteta’s side, who currently sit top of the Premier League.

Saka is one of the club’s many young stars who continue to thrive, with Arsenal keen to keep him for the future.

As a result, ESPN reports that they have triggered their option to extend his contract for another year.

He was entering the final months of his contract but will now remain at the Emirates Stadium until 2024.

Reports in October emerged that the winger had agreed to sign a new five-year contract with the club, in which he would earn £200,000-a-week.

With Saka being one of the Premier League’s hottest talents, other European clubs have attracted strong interest.

He is said to be a ‘dream’ signing for Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, with Liverpool and Man City also linked with a move.

William Saliba’s contract has also been extended for a year, with the Frenchman another key player for Arsenal.

Like Saka, he is part of the future of the Gunners, who have been very impressive this season.

Their 4-2 win over Brighton on New Year’s Eve took them seven points clear at the top of the table.

Arteta’s side are in the hunt for their first title since 2004, with defending champions Manchester City remaining in second place.
