Bruno Fernandes “gets nothing” but Aleksandar Mitrovic “goes all red”

Former Premier League star Darren Bent has taken to Twitter to vent his frustrations over VAR after wild scenes between Manchester United and Fulham.
The Cottagers took the lead in their FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford thanks to Aleksandar Mitrovic, who quickly went from hero to zero.

United were awarded a penalty for Willian’s handball down the line, with the Brazilian sent off.
Mitrovic was also given his marching orders for pushing the referee, with Marco Silva also being fired in the process.
However, talkSPORT pundit Bent was unimpressed with the consistency of the officials, referring to the moment Bruno Fernandes shoved the assistant referee in Man United’s 7-0 loss to Liverpool.
He tweeted: “Bruno gets nothing for shoving a linesman but Mitrovic gets a direct red for hitting the referee, inconsistent VAR. Embarrassing.”
It was an eventful few minutes, with Fernandes equalizing for United from the penalty spot before Marcel Sabitzer gave them a 2-1 lead.
Fernandes then scored United’s third goal as they made the most of their two-man advantage.
