Brighton confident of keeping World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister in January amid transfer interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United

Brighton believe they can keep Alexis Mac Allister in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The 24-year-old has been attracting a lot of transfer interest lately, especially after his World Cup performances with Argentina.

Mac Allister is now world champion with Argentina
Mac Allister scored once on his way to glory in Qatar, and a number of top teams were quick to sign him.
However, The Athletic report that Brighton are confident they can keep one of their star players beyond January.
Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in the Brighton man.
Chelsea are also said to be keen on a signing, with the midfielder an alternative to Enzo Fernandez should they fail to secure the fellow Argentine from Benfica.
He previously played under Blues boss Graham Potter during the manager’s time at Brighton.
However, the Seagulls are confident their player will stay at the club for the rest of the season.

He has scored five goals for Brighton this season
Mac Allister is yet to return to Brighton after his World Cup celebrations in Argentina.
He was therefore absent in their 4-2 loss to Premier League leaders Arsenal on New Year’s Eve.
Brighton currently sit eighth in the league and one point outside the European qualifying places.
Mac Allister could be key for them to get continental football next season as the Seagulls look to battle transfer interest this month.
