The Atlanta Braves needed help with a late seventh inning run against the Houston Astros in Game 4 of the World Series on Saturday night and it was Dansby Swanson and Jorge Soler who answered the call.

Swanson hit a solo home run against Astros reliever Cristian Javier to tie the game and put Truist Park fans on their feet. The crowd would explode at the next at-bat.

Soler, who has only appeared two games in the National League championship series, scored Javier’s home run to give the Braves a 3-2 lead at the most opportune time of the game. Soler’s shot skyrocketed to left field and narrowly avoided Yordan Alvarez’s glove.

It was Soler’s second homerun in the World Series and the playoffs. It was Swanson’s first home run of the playoffs.

The back-to-back jacks helped Atlanta win the game 4, 3-2.

After Soler’s home run, Eddie Rosario would make an incredible take to win at least one single from Astros star Jose Altuve.

Atlanta used six pitchers to get through the Astros, starting with rookie pitcher Dylan Lee and ending with Will Smith. Lee started off with just two regular season innings under his belt as well as 2 2/3 playoff innings. He was supposed to be part of Atlanta’s strategy to get to the reliever box often against the Houston roster.

Lee got in trouble early on and loaded up the bases before being pulled out for Kyle Wright. Lee only lasted a third of an inning before Wright stepped in to stop Houston. A runner crossed home plate in the first heat before the end. Carlos Correa has been credited with the RBI.

He also had the shortest World Series start since San Diego Padres pitcher Mark Thurmond in 1984. Thurmond recorded just one out in Game 5 of the World Series against the Detroit Tigers, according to CBS Sports. .
