It was Soler’s second homerun in the World Series and the playoffs. It was Swanson’s first home run of the playoffs.

After Soler’s home run, Eddie Rosario would make an incredible take to win at least one single from Astros star Jose Altuve.
Atlanta used six pitchers to get through the Astros, starting with rookie pitcher Dylan Lee and ending with Will Smith. Lee started off with just two regular season innings under his belt as well as 2 2/3 playoff innings. He was supposed to be part of Atlanta’s strategy to get to the reliever box often against the Houston roster.
