Nottingham Forest and Chelsea will face each other in the Premier League on New Year’s Day.
Forest were well beaten by Manchester United on Tuesday, losing 3-0 at Old Trafford to stay just one point from the bottom of the table.
Steve Cooper’s side have scored just 11 goals all season and conceded the second-most in the top flight and will be eager to fight back in 2023.
Chelsea, who are eighth in the table and six points behind fourth, beat Bournemouth last time out to end a three-game losing streak.
The Blues have not lost to Forest since a 2-0 Premiership defeat in January 1997.
