The problem: all of them require significant computing power that consumes a lot of energy. In this edition, we tell you how to reduce the carbon footprint of these technologies.
NFTs art, also called crypto-art, combines a digital work of art with a unique, tamper-proof certificate encrypted in the blockchain. It is a revolution because it allows for the first time in the digital world to distinguish an original from its copies and to confer title to it. The problem is that the underlying technology, the blockchain, comes at a significant environmental cost.
