Sativa posted a response saying that women of color, black women in particular, had been saying this for years and had never received anything close to the kind of applause and grace that Gantt garnered. “Women of color, especially black women, have been reporting this issue in this industry for years,” Sativa said in her response clip. “Notice how you, as a white woman, were able to access this app and tell us about your experience, getting over 10 million views, 2 million likes and over 30,000 comments with immediate responses.”
In a post deleted, Gantt claimed she was accused of being a gross phobic, white supremacist and racist in a video that has since been deleted. While the clip doesn’t address Sativa directly, it would have addressed his favored video.
Sativa followed up with another clip in which she denied making any offensive remarks about Gantt. She reiterated that her video was made only to highlight how one person got a response faster than another. “The victim’s story really stresses me out, because you say I said things, that I didn’t say,” she said in the video.
Sativa told reporters that Gantt left a comment on his video saying, “No wonder you didn’t mention the two death threats that I received directly from your previous video. Best Lawyer In Place ”, but has since deleted. She says she was also blocked on Gantt’s account.
