The Nintendo Switch Lite with Animal Crossing New Horizons, the perfect combo at a low price
While the standard Nintendo Switch and the Switch OLED offer the possibility of playing in portable mode as well as in dock mode (connected to the television), the Switch Lite is limited to nomadic mode. In reality, that’s the whole point since the vast majority of players prefer to play it in portable mode!
The Switch Lite is also more compact, weighing only 275 grams (compared to 297 grams for the standard version) and with better battery life. On the other hand, the screen is slightly smaller, here being 5.5 inches. Note that the Joy-Cons are not detachable, so this must be taken into account for certain games: Nintendo Switch Sports for example, this will not work. Fortunately, non-compatible games are really an extreme minority.
