Former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized in California for several days with an infection unrelated to COVID, his spokesperson said Thursday evening.
Clinton is being treated at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
“He is on the mend, in good spirits, and is incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff who provided him with excellent care,” said spokesperson Angel Ureña, noted on Twitter.
CNN added later Thursday the president has a blood infection and could be released as early as tomorrow.
