Biden should boycott FNC ‘disinformation network’

ABC legal analyst Sunny Hostin told his co-hosts on “The View” on Friday that President Joe Biden is not expected to do an interview with Fox News before the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Co-host Joy Behar said: “The game is airing on Fox this year. This is the problem.”

She added: “The question is should he do it? There’s the problem that they always say he didn’t really win the election, those people over at Fox. They keep saying he’s a liar when they’re the liars. Why would he go there?

Hostin said: “I don’t think he should. I know it’s a tradition. The pre-game show, that pre-interview, would only get about 20 million viewers. I think he got 27.3 for the State of the Union, so people saw him, they heard him. I don’t think you are normalizing the misinformation network.

She continued, “I find it hard to believe he should even sit down with a Shannon Bream or even a Bret Baier because the bottom line is that they work for a network that puts forward theories of conspiracy. They are election deniers.

Hostin added, “During Tucker Carlson’s show on Tuesday, just before the State of the Union address, he said ‘the model president has left the White House.’ Additionally, Fox viewers are more willing to embrace conspiracy theories around COVID.

She concluded, “President Biden hasn’t given an interview to Fox News for the duration of his presidency, and he shouldn’t start now.”
