Bardella makes an offer to LR deputies to encourage them to vote for a motion of censure – RT in French

The president of the National Rally called on the LR deputies to vote the motion of censure with his party against the executive after the announcement by Elisabeth Borne of the use of 49.3 to force through the pension reform.
Asked on March 17 on the set of TPMP about the motions of censure tabled the day before against the government, the president of the National Rally (RN) Jordan Bardella estimated that all the opposition formations should vote in this direction in order to “make pass the interest of the French […] before the interests of political parties.
In the event of the dissolution of the National Assembly, the [RN] will not present candidates in the constituencies where the Republican deputies would vote with us for the motion of no confidence
This is the reason why he addressed the Republican (LR) deputies who would hesitate to vote for such a motion because of instructions imposed by their political family, and encouraged them to “resist pressure and macronie ” . “I want to tell them that in the event of the dissolution of the National Assembly, the [RN] will not present candidates in the constituencies where the Republican deputies would vote with us for the motion of censure,” he continued.

This appeal launched by Jordan Bardella to LR deputies comes after a publication by the current boss of the Republicans, the deputy of the Alpes-Maritimes Eric Ciotti, who, the day after the announcement by the government of the use of 49.3 to pass the pension reform , for his part made it known that no deputy from his party was a co-signatory of the cross-partisan censure motion tabled in reaction. “No Les Républicains deputy is a co-signer of the LIOT and extreme left censure motion in accordance with our collective decision. If one of them had done so, he would immediately have had no place in our political family,” he wrote on social networks. “We will not vote on any motion of censure. We don’t want to add chaos to chaos,” he added on the same day.

If the recent remarks of the president of the National Rally echo the uncertainty with which certain LR deputies seem to be confronted (according to The worldFabien Di Filippo, Maxime Minot or even Pierre Cordier would be ready to vote for the motion of censure, while Ian Boucard publicly committed to doing so), other elected officials from the same political family have stepped up to the plate in the face of such a proposal, such as Olivier Marleix. “The LR deputies have never been for sale, neither yesterday, nor today, nor tomorrow,” he reacted to Jordan Bardella’s call.
As a reminder, two motions of censure were tabled on March 17 against the government. One is the work of the National Rally. The other, transpartisan, is on the initiative of the group of independent deputies Liot. Their examination is scheduled for March 20 in the National Assembly. Prior to their filing, Marine Le Pen had indicated that in the event of the use of 49.3, the RN would vote for all those which would be filed.
