Two men in their early 60s were found dead in a northwest Austin neighborhood after police responded to a shooting call shortly after noon Monday.

One of the men was found dead in the garden, while the other was found inside the house. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

“We don’t believe this poses a threat to the public,” Austin Police Detective Marcus Davis said at the scene. “We believe this to be an isolated incident between two individuals.”

Police responded to a 911 call about shots fired around 12:38 p.m.
