At least 500 dead in a violent earthquake in Turkey and Syria – RT in French

On February 6, a violent earthquake, of magnitude 7.8, struck southern Turkey and Syria. According to the latest provisional reports announced, the Turkish authorities reported 284 deaths in the country, while Syria announced that 237 people had lost their lives.
