Armand Duplantis breaks the pole vault world record and rekindles the comparison with Timothée Chalamet


Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis cleared 20ft 4 1/2in (6.21m) to break his own world record at the world championships on Sunday – and he went on to earn comparisons with actor Timothee Chalamet .

Fans pointed out the resemblance between the track and field star and ‘Dune’ idol when Duplantis won Olympic gold last summer.
