Are JR Smith’s College Golf Debut on TV? How to track North Carolina’s A&T scores at the Phoenix Invitational

JR Smith has put on his irons shooting sleeve as he begins a new chapter in his athletic career.

The two-time NBA champion, who joined the NBA straight out of high school in 2004, enrolled at North Carolina A&T over the summer to continue his education with a liberal studies degree, joining the team from golf as a substitute.

The NCAA cleared Smith last month to play golf at the college level and will play its first NCAA tournament on Monday and Tuesday at the Phoenix Invitational hosted by Elon University Alamance Country Club Golf Course.

All players must qualify for each practice tournament, unless they finish first or second on the team in a previous event. In Smith’s case, he advanced into the team’s qualifying tournament all at once.

If you want to know how good a golfer really is, put the word tournament or money before the round. Playing when there’s nothing at stake is one thing. , make sense and the heart rate changes. The grip on the club changes, and we can see who you really are. ”
