Antony has doubt for FA Cup final as Manchester United winger is stretched in tears

Antony was stretched in severe pain during the first half of Manchester United’s Premier League game against Chelsea.
The Brazilian was left writhing on the ground after a challenge from Trevoh Chalobah in the first half hour of the match, and quickly signaled his support.

Doctors came to the pitch to help the clearly distressed Brazilian, but after trying to get up he sat up and was put on a stretcher.
The injury could jeopardize the winger’s final FA Cup chances in just over a week on June 3 against Manchester City.
As he was carried off the pitch, Antony kept his face covered by his hands and was briefly stopped on the touchline by Erik ten Hag who offered his support.
The Man United manager brought the winger with him from Ajax last summer in an £80m deal.

The 23-year-old hasn’t had the best debut season for England so far, managing eight goals and three assists in 43 appearances.
One of those games was in the League Cup final, however, with Antony starting in a game that saw United win their first silverware in five years.
And as the 14th most expensive player of all time, United are hoping to bring him back when they face rivals City as they try to end their treble dream.
