Andre Ayew couldn’t believe it when his Ghana side conceded seconds after leaving the pitch.
The 32-year-old found his side tied by canceling out Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty for Portugal.
After doing his job for his team, the veteran with 110 caps was replaced and received congratulations from his teammates. It was also his 24th goal for his country and it looked like it could be important.
However, moments after being taken off the pitch, Joao Felix put Portugal back in front.
Ayew’s face said it all as he couldn’t believe his side conceded a goal so quickly.
Things went from bad to worse for Ghana as they conceded again when Rafael Leao scored and the former Crystal Palace man was left unimpressed.
He slammed his water bottle into the dugout as his team seemingly threw a point.
They nearly got back into it when Osman Bukari netted a goal for Ghana then released Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Siiiuuu’ celebration.
