Alec Baldwin is preparing for his first public appearance since filming on the set of his movie “Rust”.

The actor has been seen several times since the fatal shooting, and he even did a revealing interview with George Stephanopoulos, but has yet to be seen at any public event or red carpet.

That will change on Thursday, December 9, when Baldwin will be the emcee for the 2021 Ripple of Hope Award event, hosted by human rights organization Robert F. Kennedy in New York City.

According to the event’s website, the award has historically honored “exemplary leaders in the international business, entertainment and activist communities who have demonstrated a commitment to social change and reflect the passion of Robert Kennedy. for equality, justice, basic human rights and his belief that each of us can make a difference. “

According to the website, the event will be a “hybrid” model, offering both in-person and virtual experiences.

The in-person portion of the event will feature a red carpet and pre-dinner cocktail and rewards program, which will be followed by dessert and other beverages, all at the New York Hilton Midtown Manhattan Hotel.
