Airplane Passenger Annoyed By Child Kicking Her Seat While Mom Does Nothing

Few people expect to board an airplane and be completely comfortable. Space restrictions don’t really allow it. But the least we can hope for is not to get the seat kicked by the passenger behind him.

A woman took to Reddit to share her experience with a misbehaving child and asked users, “Am I the asshole?”

The woman settled into her seat and hoped to get some well-deserved sleep. But the young child sitting behind her had other plans.

According to The Mirror, “the woman claims the young girl grabbed her by the hair, kicked her seat and pushed her for hours during the flight, without any interference from her parents. But in an attempt to be understanding, neither she nor her partner complained to the family.

Kudos to the wife, because that’s probably not how most adults would react, especially on a long haul flight.

When the child fell asleep, the woman thought she could finally close the eyes she had been denied. To facilitate this, she only reclined her seat so that the child’s mother had the audacity to say she felt “uncomfortable”.

The woman explained on Reddit: “I stayed in the lying position, however, because I felt like I had put up with her child who made me feel uncomfortable for hours and kept me awake when I was. needed.”

The majority of Reddit users said the woman was not wrong in refusing to adjust her seat to an upright position.

OP and her husband didn’t even go to a flight attendant or ask to move the seats. They were more than patient. My parents have been taking my sister and I on trips since we were very young. They took great care to make sure we had snacks and entertainment, and there was no way at 3 years old we were allowed to pull other passengers’ hair and bang the seats in front of us. The child should have had his own seat and his parents should have done a better job.
