Adam Sandler Gives Far Too Honest Advice During NYU Graduate Speech

Martin Scorsese should have said ‘when’ to stop the Pepper Boy as he called him out during a graduation speech on Thursday.

Comedian Adam Sandler addressed alumni at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts graduation ceremony.

sandler, in an excerpt from the speech posted on Twitteroffered advice to parents and pointed to the director of “Taxi Driver” in the audience as a way to help.

“Somehow slip your child’s photo to Mr. Martin Scorsese before this event is over,” he joked.

“He’ll love it, I promise.”

The ‘Uncut Gems’ star also joked that the parents in attendance “got it wrong.”

“You could support these kids for a very long time,” Sandler said.

“They are not leaving the nest any time soon. It is a difficult undertaking that they have chosen, but there is still time to talk them out of it.

Sandler wasn’t the only celebrity to humorously bid farewell to NYU graduates.

Taylor Swift, known for her groundbreaking work as a singer-songwriter, received an honorary doctorate from NYU on Wednesday.

“As long as we have the chance to breathe, we will inhale, inhale deeply, exhale,” Swift said in her speech.

“And I’m a doctor now, so I know how breathing works.”
