Dybala made 293 appearances for Juve, scoring 115 goals and providing 45 assists, leading to a glowing tribute on the club’s website.

An official statement read: “He arrived in Turin as a talented young promise, and now he is bidding farewell to Juve, taking with him a wealth of experience that has made him the champion he is now.

“Seven black and white years for Paulo, consisting of 293 appearances, 115 goals, 45 assists and 12 trophies won. Now his career will continue outside of Turin.

“These numbers, if examined in detail, together tell much of the shared story. For example, Paulo is ninth in the all-time scoring charts in Juventus history in all competitions; he is the tenth top scorer in Serie A, third all-time for Juventus in Europe with 18 goals scored in the Champions League. And still speaking of goals, Dybala is the player who has scored the most times in the Allianz Stadium (68 goals) in all competitions and it is the Bianconero who have scored the most off-the-beaten-track goals (25 goals) in Serie A.

“The seven years together have not only been made of goals and victories, there have been flashes of talent, unforgettable evenings and performances of absolute quality.

“And for all that, we will always thank him.”

Dybala isn’t the only notable name to leave the Italian giants this summer, with Alvaro Morata and Federico Bernardeschi also set to move on.

Morata, who previously played for Chelsea, has spent the last two seasons on loan from Atletico Madrid and will now return to the Spanish side.

As for Bernardeschi, the Italy international is ending his five-year association with the club as he sets off in search of a new challenge.
