Throughout the month of December, the Youth Twitter account with Macron circulated humorous election posters intended to praise the current president or denounce the oppositions. The last, of December 24, was particularly criticized.
Since 1st December, Les Jeunes avec Macron published on social networks fake campaign posters in the tone of humor and cinematography to congratulate the action of the current president or mock oppositions. The last of their “advent calendar”, that of December 24, particularly caused a reaction. Indeed, on it, the Macronist group has placed as a slogan “The last survivor”, highlighting the photo of Emmanuel Macron. In the caption: “Yellow vests, Covid-19, Brexit, terrorism … it has withstood all the tests.” In the tweet accompanying the poster, Les Jeunes avec Macron supports the punchline adding: “Emmanuel Macron, the president of resilience.”
Many elected representatives of the Les Républicains (LR) party denounced this propaganda, like the vice-president of the Grand Est Region, Valérie Debord. This one deplores a contempt of the Macronists: “The yellow vests of the beginning were French people overwhelmed by taxes and bleeding through their veins not to make ends meet: How can one be so contemptuous and blind?” “With Valérie Pécresse, no French, no territory will be forgotten,” she adds.

LR deputy for Moselle Fabien di Filippo judge for its part the poster as “out of place, idiotic, provocative, quite simply ridiculous”. The elected LR of Chilly-Mazarin, Julien Rodrigues, designs as for him to conceive that “it is to create the buzz but we fell very low all the same”.
Some members of the National Gathering also criticize such as the regional councilor of Ile-de-France, Aurélien Legrand. He considers that “you are an enemy of the people and of democracy when you put a popular movement and a referendum on the same level as terrorism and a disease … that’s macronism!”

The employee of the socialist group at the Center-Val de Loire Regional Council, Léo Gore also criticizes the comparison between “people in financial difficulties who cannot finish the month, who have expressed their fed up with terrorism. and a global epidemic ”.
Compare people in financial difficulties unable to finish the month who have expressed their fed-up with terrorism and a global epidemic… 😳

Young people with Macron got used to creating this type of poster to generate buzz on the internet. On September 1, the Elysee Palace had even supported their approach according to The Parisian, by creating 50,000 posters in more than 80 cities, including Paris, presenting the presidential mandate as a television series, with codes inspired by the American platform Netflix.
