The tarantula was safely captured by the specialized team of Eure firefighters thanks to the call from the individual who discovered the spider.

A very unexpected encounter. A resident of Eure recently found himself face to face with a tarantula in his garden. Eurois had the right reflex by calling the department’s firefighters to capture the animal.

“The alert processing center then triggered the specialized animal rescue team to safely capture the spider,” says Sdis on Facebook.

The Eure firefighters have a team specially trained to rescue animals with the assistance of a veterinarian.
