A Canadian uses a giant billboard to get rid of leftover dairy products in the fridge

A Canadian who finds food in his refrigerator uses a billboard to clean his house.

Angel Domingo, a 48-year-old man who recently moved into a house in Toronto, wanted to get rid of a string cheese stick after finding it in his new refrigerator, Global News reported.

Domingo placed an ad for the cheese on Canadian advertising site Kijiji, but after getting no takers, he wanted to see how a billboard could help.

“It’s a very good string of cheese. I haven’t seen a cheese chain in a long time, and I think, you know, it has some value. I wanted to get rid of it,” Domingo told Narcity.

The ad, placed in Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square, filled with billboards, asked Canadians if they wanted to trade for the Black Diamond-branded dairy product without “lowballs.”

Domingo has admitted string cheese is the ‘weirdest thing’ he’s ever had to offer, but the billboard, which went live earlier this week, has prompted the appearance of “en masse” offers, according to Global News.

Some of the offers included Persian cats, someone’s girlfriend and a unique box of Lucky Charms cereal, he told Narcity.

“[They] said they would walk through it, so it was just charms. I thought it was pretty good, but if I had the time, I would do it myself,” Domingo said.

Domingo wouldn’t tell Canadian media how much he paid for the billboard, but he’s still waiting for the right trade.

“I said the same thing to everyone when they asked me what I was looking for. … It’s like you know it when you see it,” Domingo said.
