2-year-old Massachusetts boy dies in horrific crash at auto repair shop
A 2-year-old boy died Thursday in Massachusetts after being run over by a construction machine at an auto repair shop.
The “horrible tragedy” happened around 12:40 p.m. at Hajj Auto Service in Cohasset, Mass., Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley told reporters.

The boy’s grandfather took the child to a nearby police station, Quigley said. The child was then transferred to the South Shore hospital where he was declared dead.
“At this point, it doesn’t seem like anything bad,” Quigley said.

An employee who witnessed the accident received medical help and officers are “taking it very badly”, Quigley added, pointing out that one of them had been sent home.
The family that operates Hajj Auto Service live in nearby Hull and have owned the auto garage for “many years,” Quigley said.
